About a year and a half ago, I was cruising around DA and found a gallery of images that intrigued me. I looked at the photos and was amazed to find someone who unabashedly shared her art and herself so freely. She seemed so unfettered, so free, and so fascinated by nude photography.
Interestingly, she was taking a lot of photos of herself by using a timer. Not only were the photos good quality....but they were well executed and had a sort of whimsical nature that kept me coming back.
I started watching her and commenting on her images.
Then she started watching ME and making comments. Then we started sending notes.
A year and a half later we are the dearest of friends and lovers.

So ....on this day...June 13th....Shy was born.
I will celebrate it as a day someone truly unique, truly brilliant, truly gifted, and monumentally important and influential ... came into my life.

I'm not sure you can THANK someone for being born... but I'll be damned if I don't feel grateful to Shy for making a stop on this plane of existence while I'm here too! I have grown as a human being and expanded in ways I never thought possible until I met Shy.
