Whatcha sayin'?

SO I went over a million hits. Along with those million views came over 21,000 comments. Of those comments there were only a few negative criticisms. I LIKE criticism. I INVITE criticism.
But here's the deal.... let's talk about lighting, form, movement, texture, concept, execution, technical dealios..... whatever. Let's discuss ART.
I DO NOT want to hear it if someone thinks my work is porn. If my work offends you... them move on. If you think I'm a pervert.... fine - just know I don't really put a lot of stock in your opinion. Hell - my parents think I'm a perv! lol
If you think it is porn but you LIKE porn.... whatever... have a look.

If you think one of my models is too heavy, too tall, too skinny, has goofy eyes, boobs are too big or small..... whatever.... DON'T bother to comment. One SURE way to get banned from my gallery is to make a derogatory comment about my models. I WILL NOT TOLERATE it. I LOVE my models. I protect my models. And they trust me to have their best interest in mind.... and I ALWAYS ALWAYS put their best interest before mine when making images.
I now have a list of only 8 people banned from my gallery. 6 of them are young men with poor graphic arts skills, video game lovers, with no concept of art when I looked through their galleries and their favorites. SO I mostly ignore their comments and just ban them.
I am also ASTONISHED at the number of under aged boys and girls who look through my gallery. I don't know what to do with that other than to just simply WISH there was a way to keep that from happening. Better yet - a way to measure maturity NOT by chronological age but by behavioral standards. My sincere apologies to those young people out there who love and appreciate art. But it is about choices and consequences.

Much to my joy, the most commented on image (to some part due to it being a DD) is Scar's Scars [link]
I have told her time and again how much of an impact this image has had on SOOOO many people. I am moved by Scar's bravery and moved by the bravery it has inspired in so many others. For this and so many other things.... I love you, Scar.
And for a YEAR now my most viewed image has been this one of Charlotte

To the 8,675 people who watch me.... THANK YOU. I appreciate the support, the comments, (wish I had time to answer all of them), and the art you all produce.
DA is a wonderful place to have a gallery. I've been banned, had images taken down because of their controversial nature, and had friends banned.... but it is THEIR site so I'm not gonna take the time to fight city hall. SO I still maintain it is a cool venue. I have fun here.
I appreciate all you artists out there who are raising the bar here on DA.
No matter your medium.... give it your all.
