Pretty sure most people know where I stand when it comes to religion... but what conclusions do YOU draw from this illustration? What does this say to you? Comments are open. Have a party.
Belief is no doctrine, science is not belief, we are an accident. get over it!!!!! to quote Carl Jung - As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being. this isn't a bad thing, means we can be, or should be the masters of our own destiny. IF we can get over the stupidness that we find ourselves in.
that I guess what I think being a "virgin" means and what it actually means is completely different since all these people were born to virgins. I personally have no issue with religion itself but I hate to see people use it as an excuse to hate. people seem to pick and choose what parts of their bible they want to follow and with who based on how they feel about them.
Seems like there's a need in a lot of people (and has been for a long, long time) that they have a faith to belong to and follow. I personally don't think 'which' religion they follow is that important, though they probably do and will no doubt proclaim their's is the only 'true' religion.
But to them, their religion provides something that they can follow and believe in. Something to give them guidance, strength, solace, comfort, fellowship and joy when they need it.
Not for everyone and, as our history shows, all too often open to abuse and misinterpretation by way too many people who are really only interested in their own agenda, but for the innocent masses religion has provided much for many over eons – as your illustration shows.
