I recently was hired to shoot a Butoh performance. It was a NIGHTMARE of EPIC proportions photographically. There was very little light and I couldn't use flash.
Settings for this shot are:
ISO 1600 f2.8 @1/8sec I didn't have my tripod with me, so I was lying on my stomach on the ground with my camera on a bag and trying not to breathe or let my heart beat! lol Then I had to time the shot to hit the peak moment of his movement so there wasn't a blur issue.
Shot with my Canon 1DS MarkII and a 70-200mm 2.8AF IS. At the 200mm setting.
