In a departure from my "no more nudes" policy, I am posting this from a shoot. This is my dear friend Selina Minx, who is a dom here in LA. This photo, along with some others, is from an interview by Penthouse magazine September issue.
She's a WONDERFUL woman. Talented, smart, and gifted in so many ways. Her sub in this shot is also a sweet friend. Funny to see how dramatic this shot is and know how much we were laughing and clowning around.

While I do journal on here occasionally, I thought many of you might like to follow my journeys on Facebook. If so here's the link:

I have also been getting a bit of crap lately about allowing and not allowing comments. One reader suggested it was "arrogant" of me to NOT allow comments. ha Anyone really interested in why I sometimes do and sometimes do NOT allow comments should go back and read some of my journals on this topic. I don't really feel compelled to explain it all YET AGAIN but a teeny synopsis would be simply that I don't have time to respond and, more importantly monitor, all the comments. I have a new little two year old boy so I enjoy spending more time with him.

We recently traveled to Japan. I work over there once or twice a year and try to get in a little sight seeing while I'm there. So I'll be posting a few more pix of that, but again, there are some fun stories and videos on my Facebook page. Please do come look.

I'll be posting more journals here in the future too. I'm not absent from DA, just busy.

Hope you all have a great time here

One of the many temple we visited in Japan. I am constantly amazed at their architecture. I also LOVE Japanese culture and food!

It was a tough trip. I had a lot of work, poor Squi got Degue fever (presented after we got home, of course), it was hot and humid. In the low 90's in Okinawa with 95% humidity! There was a fire in the train station just as we arrived in Tokyo's Shinjuku Station. BUT.... we had some WONDERFUL food, met a lot of fabulous people, learned a lot, and had a good time in spite of several setbacks. Squi turned two while we were there. I also took my daughter (29) with me this time, so she had a blast, even though she got lost on International Street in Naha, Okinawa. We found her back at the hotel. Very funny. She stepped on a MONSTROUS cockroach that made the mistake of getting between her heel and her sandal. She got stopped by security in the airport (long story), temporarily lost her passport (another long story), and got a sunburn...ah...traveling with my daughter is always an adventure. She misjudged the potency of local sake and had to take a cab back to the hotel. SO GLAD she had a plastic bag with her in the back seat of the cab, because you can guess what happened. It goes on and on.
We're glad to be home even though we are jet lagged as hell.

Comments Disabled... what a sigh of relief!!!!

It's been REALLY refreshing to NOT have trolls and flamers. Images like those in my gallery inevitably receive all sorts of negative commentary. Since I have disabled comments, the attention craving jerks really have not bothered me. The reason is, as I suspected all along... take away their public forum and they go back into their holes. Some people have complained that I can't take criticism. That is simply laughable. After 35 years in one of the most competitive markets in the world, I've heard just about everything. Yea - it's nice to hear "great shot", or "that's beautiful...nice lighting". But I don't really need pats on the back. And I no longer will tolerate comments like, "Your model needs to be taken out back and shot like the whore dog she is!" or "she's too fuckin skinny, she needs to eat something".
I could care less what people say about me personally but I will NOT tolerate flaming or trolling my models. THAT is why I disabled comments. Also, I simply don't have the time or desire to go through all the hundreds of comments I get to weed out the trolls, block them, and hide their comments. It's a waste of my time.
Let me be perfectly honest here... I have been on DA for 5 years. I am here for fun. Not only do I NOT make any money from DA, it COSTS me money. I am a business man, so time is money, so if you account for the amount of TIME I spend on here, it is even MORE of a loss. But - it's fun and I have made some good on line friends and a few personal friends.
I fear for this generation of loud mouthed, unsophisticated, undereducated, sophomoric juveniles who don't subscribe to decency and good manners. Not all of them, of course... but there is a significant percentage. I blame the internet for this unchecked bad behavior because there are no consequences for the things they say and do. But how will this spill over to their REAL lives and interactions with REAL people when they face situations that make them uncomfortable? It is, in my opinion, very damaging to personal growth to NOT have consequences to bad behavior. What will these flamers and trolls grow up to be? Probably politicians who post photos of their weiners on Twitter.
Anyway...THAT is the reason I no longer allow comments.

If you come to Houston and do a workshop, I'm good for lunch. I said the same thing to Ed Reed with the Ravens and he showed up....:)

well, the challenge is always having a place to shoot and getting enough participants to make the trip worth it. Although lunch sounds great! :)

Come on man! That suit ROCKED at the time. I can still see in my mind the Gar-animals and corduroy outfits my Mom put me on me in '73.
